According to the city of Tyler permit website, a second Chipotle restaurant will be built in the Village at Cumberland Park in Tyler. The permit for the upcoming location was approved Aug.
The regional Broadway Square Mall is conveniently located at 4601 South Broadway Avenue, at the corner of South Broadway Avenue (U.S. Highway 69) and Loop 323, and contains dozens of stores and dining options.
The 6.5 acre park includes an outdoor amphitheater, which accommodates approximately 1,200 people for events. Cumberland Park sits between the Shelby Street Pedestrian Bridge and the Korean War Veterans Memorial Bridge and offers direct access to the Shelby Street Bridge by way of a new elevator and staircase.
According to Mark Whatley, of Burns Commercial Real Properties, while Costco has eyed the Tyler market for nearly a decade, there are currently no concrete plans for the wholesale retailer to come to the Rose City.
